The Viaplay service launched across the Nordic region as the first fully fledged over-the-top online pay-TV solution, enabling viewers to access thousands of movies, live sports and TV shows on any internet-connected device. New agreements signed with Twentieth Century Fox and for rights to UEFA Champions League football and the 2014 and 2016 winter and summer Olympic Games. Four of Viasat’s thematic documentary channels were launched on third party networks in four African countries.
